Saudi Arabia brought the world together, on Monday, as the Middle East Green Summit 2021 was launched in Riyadh, at 17:00 PM and lasted for three hours and thirty minutes, in the presence of regional, international leaders, and prime ministers. The summit hosted by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was an extension of the Saudi Green Initiative (SGI) and Youth Green Summit that took place on the 23rd and 24th of October.


Regional Leaders Joined the MGI Summit in Saudi Arabia

     Leaders and prime ministers from across the region were gathered in Riyadh to participate in the MGI’s program and therefore take action against climate change. Some of the Arab countries that joined were Tunisia, Algeria, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Libya, and Morocco. The initiative was highly welcomed, and the vision was supported by all the participants, especially that climate change is not only a local concern but a global one too. Hence, serious actions need to be taken and a green roadmap should be followed to reduce the risks.
